Lights On St.George

Break the silence with unrest – time’s slowing down but I’m not stopping
Fall behind the mass of men cos we’re taking back this world.
The streets are filled with acts of desperation for a common picture
Hold the door before the sun breaks in and ends it all.

This house is all I know
I’ll break the night with daylight breathing down my neck and get away.
The clock will break apart within my hands and so the night remains.
If the lights go dim St. George will take our shadows but we stay

The city borders crumble in a mess of paralysis.
The post mortem will show they still exist.
Step back into a world consuming suits and ties and compromise
Welcome to suburbia - wipe feet, get clean, drop down and say your prayers.
